5-Minute-Face

sephora bronzerWhen life gets busy it gets harder to look good. So we've put together a 5-minute-fix that every woman will love.

I'm one of those women who hates to wear makeup. As a TV reporter I was required to slather on layers of concealer, powder, blush, gloss, etc. I would wait until the last minute to apply my daily TV mask. Needless to say I still don't wear much makeup but when I do I make sure to use products that will give me the biggest pop and the biggest bang for my buck.

mac1Under Eye Concealer

One of my long time favorites that I discovered while in television is Mac Studio Fix concealer. mac2

This is by far the best concealer I've ever used. It's creamy, comes is great shades and it works! One little pot sells for $16.50 and lasts for a long time.

Blush

I'm a new fan of cream blush. I tested several of them at Sephora before deciding on Stila Convertible Color. stila2

This compact serves as a blush and lipstick. At $25.00 you get great color that adds a glow to your cheeks. I like the Stila cream blush because it's not a deep stain-- so it goes on light and smooth.

Mascara

stilettoI have tried just about every mascara on the market and have been repeatedly disappointed. Some of my favorites have always been the line from Lancome but they're pricey. Fortunately I have found a much cheaper and possibly better mascara-- Maybelline Lash Stiletto.

This $7.00 mascara is absolutely fantastic. It gives my stubby lashes true length.

Lip Gloss

napoleanI am a lip gloss addict! Although I can go days without wearing makeup I never leave the house without lip gloss. I like the shiny stuff-- the real shiny stuff. I stumbled on Napoleon Perdis Luminous Lip Veil lip gloss at Ulta. The brush on this $20.00 tube of gloss stays put and helps to smooth on luscious lips.

I also found a cheaper version of gloss that I like. It's not as good as the Napoleon Perdis but it works in a pinch.

CoverGirlWetslicks Amazemint lip gloss is shiny and adds a little mint flavor to your lips with Crest peppermint oil. You get a minty breath sensation with a high-shine. wetslicks

At around $5.00 a pop I can afford several of these fabulous glosses.
