For  those of us who are admittedly obsessed with shoes, we have no problem dropping big bucks for the right pair. But what happens when the right pair just can't be found? Design your own!

This shoe site is the latest thing in fashion finds. It's so hot right now you might have trouble logging on-- so be patient.

This unique site allows you to be the designer. You pick the heel height, you pick the leather, suede, etc and you glam it up. I designed my own pair of pony hair flats for $215. Want to try it?

Here’s how it works: go to the design page and click through the various toe shapes (round, pointy, peep, etc.), heel backs (sling backs, closed backs), heel height (height preference, platforms preference) ankle straps (Mary Jane, around the ankle, etc) to create the silhouette of the exact shoe you want.

Next, choose your color combinations and material to come up with something uniquely yours. Too shy to dabble in design? To get your feet wet, the site also sells ready-to-wear shoes.

Sisters Ilissa and Dori have answered every woman’s shoe prayers.They created the design-it-yourself shoe shop based on their love of fabulous shoes.

Born and raised on the east coast, these sisters have always had an affinity for shoes. This first came to light when Ilissa spent a semester abroad in Italy and was introduced to, among other things, fine Italian leather. She came home that summer with 17 pairs of shoes!

Their philosophy: "We didn’t want to have to take out second mortgages to support our shoe habit and sometimes we just couldn’t find want we wanted and that was simply not okay."
